Tabitha Indonesia : Ramadan & fuel Increment

As the biggest Muslim population country all over the world, Indonesia will certainly be very focused in terms of Muslim religious tradition of the most popular celebration called as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. A whole month before the Eid tradition, Muslims will spend the daylight hours in a complete fast and known as a blessed month of Ramadan. On the day of Eid al-Fitr, there will be 2 national holidays where this year it falls on August 8th to 9th and like most of the years the holiday will be rounded to a full week from between 3 days before and 3 days after the Eid al-Fitr.

Due to this long holiday, please be sure to arrange shipment for Import and Export with arrive and depart in Indonesia Port latest July 25th including customs clearance and release cargo from W/H regarding usually 14 days before Feast Of Eid Indonesian Government will instruct that large vehicles or trucking are prohibited crossing the main road except for the delivery of fuel and primary need for the community.
If keep do delivery after July 25th or approaching Fest Of Eid Day is needed escort to perform delivery and additional cost will applied estimated to be 2 or 3 times the normal rate.

Another news from Indonesia that must be known is the increment of fuel price for up to 25% which has prevailed from June 22nd ago.

Therefore please understand that this increment has affected to the whole inland transportation charges which is also increasing equivalently with the fuel increment.
